Where we work
Cupp works with different communities in different ways:
University campuses
The University currently has campuses in
- Grand Parade
- Moulsecoomb
- Falmer
- Eastbourne
- Hastings
You can see all campus maps on the university website.
The Helpdesk provides drop in sessions in each of these locations, open to any groups able to travel to these events. This includes those from East and Mid-Sussex, and rural, urban and coastal areas where Brighton is their nearest university town.
The On Our Doorsteps initiative is intended for groups based in the immediate locality of the different university campuses and has been designed to explore the concept of neighbourliness, improving relationships between university personnel and local residents through developing activities for them to work together.
Sussex Region
The South East Coastal Communities programme has included work with the Universities of Sussex and Chichester and brought us into contact with many communities in West Sussex.
Our Student Community Engagement programme can respond to requests from any of these areas though we often suggest groups from West Sussex work through the University of Chichester as we have few students able to travel long distances to projects.
National and International
Our Research and Development programme has been designed to provide support to other universities nationally and internationally who want to set up partnership programmes of their own. Through this we work with institutions in the UK and throughout the world on a range of collaborative activities and funded partnership projects.
