Launch of new resource on community university partnerships

South East Coastal Communities (SECC) was funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) as a demonstrator project from 2008-2011. The aim of the project was for universities to work collaboratively with members of their local communities in order to build capacity to meet health and wellbeing needs. The programme sought to encourage knowledge exchange between universities and community across the South East coastal region, involving nine higher education institutions from Kent, Sussex and Hampshire. This resource contains:

• A film that illustrates the programme as a whole, and 3 films that focus on each county
• 4 briefing papers on lessons learnt
• Evaluation reports
• Details of projects
