Post Graduate Internships
Are you interested in gaining work experience and getting credits for a post graduate qualification?
We have put the two together to offer a unique experience of gaining 20 post graduate credits whilst undertaking a three month work experience with a not for profit organisation.
This opportunity is free of charge and we only have a limited amount of places.
The Programme includes:- A supported project management experience based in a not for profit organisation
- A 20 credit masters module as a taste of masters level work
- A regular action learning set to help your transition into work

Health and wellbeing
- An evaluation of the impact of suicide intervention training on local organisations and working with a Suicide prevention team in Brighton,
- Development of a staff training manual for an alcohol treatment service in Eastbourne
- Collecting background data to support a decision over the merger of three social care organisations in West Sussex.
Society
- A technology and marketing project with a Brighton consultancy firm working for Social Inclusion
- A social media development project for MindOut, an LGBT group in Brighton working with mental health issues
- Development of a database (CiviCRM) with a voluntary sector infrastructure organisation in Eastbourne
Education
- Developing an international youth event or as health awareness programme with Brighton and Hove Albion’s community wing at the Football Stadium.
- Collecting data on young people’s involvement in arts and creativity for an organisation looking at the importance of creativity as a catalyst for change in Brighton.
All expenses, including course fees and travel costs are covered by the organisations hosting participants and applicants on job seekers allowance may be able to continue receiving benefits. The programme runs from March to July 2012.
