We offer consultancy opportunities for a wide range of subjects and educational issues, with related accreditation possibilities where appropriate. For example:
- helping to develop focused, in-house staff development (e.g. supervision consultation and training and for community-based middle managers and team leaders)
- providing training for educational staff development (e.g. assertiveness skills and time management training for teachers and support staff)
- accrediting existing staff development programmes (e.g. training the trainer programmes for local authorities)
- helping and advising institutions to introduce new practices (e.g. designing initial training programmes for youth support workers).
Consultancy work aims to provide immediate responses to current workforce issues. The School of Education is fortunate to be able to draw upon the wealth of experience and expertise amongst its core teaching and research staff as well as the number of practitioners and managers who work with us as associate staff.
