Initial Teacher Education

The School of Education enjoys an excellent track record and reputation for developing flexible, high quality programmes. For example, our primary education provision has the highest quality rating (category A) as awarded by the Teaching Agency (TA).

The School of Education offers a range of Initial Teacher Education (ITE) courses that lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).  These are listed below.

School Experience Programme

The School Experience Programme (SEP) has been developed by the Teaching Agency and allows people interested in teaching to gain classroom experience in primary and secondary schools.
