Jennifer Lamb, Primary Education with QTS (3-7 years) BA(Hons)
I am 22 years old and originally from Suffolk. When I filled in my UCAS form, Brighton was my 6th choice but as soon as I visited the university, I fell in love with the place. Accepting the offer of a place on this course was the best decision of my life.
Time to grow and become a teacher
The four years studying at Brighton has given me time to grow and become a teacher, and I have felt fully supported by the School of Education throughout the course. I have really loved all four of my teaching placements, which have been incredibly varied from a small village school with mixed year groups to a large urban primary school with a diverse intake. I am just about to finish the course but I have already been offered a job to teach a Year 4 class back at home in Suffolk. I can't wait to start teaching but I will be sad to leave Brighton.
