Zoe Ratcliffe, Key Stage 2/3 English Education with QTS BA(Hons)
I'm about to complete my 4 year degree in KS2/3 training to teach 7-14 year olds, specialising in English.
Variety of subjects
The variety of subjects mixed in with teacher training has equipped me with skills I know I will continue to use and develop. The lecturers have been so supportive and their passions about their subjects have ignited my own!
The specialist nature of the KS2/3 degree is something potential employers really notice. I've just been offered a first teaching post which was created especially for me because of the skills I can offer their school.
Coming back to study
Without this university and this KS2/3 degree, I wouldn't be the teacher I am now! I've enjoyed my studies at Brighton so much that I'm coming back to study for a Masters degree part-time when I start teaching.
