We are committed to creating knowledge through discovery, integration, application and teaching through our research study programmes. Our aim is to foster critical understanding of learning in diverse cultures and complex worlds. Our focus is on social justice, democracy and voice.
Education Research Centre
In the Research Assessment Exercise 2008, 65 per cent of our education research was confirmed as of international standing. 35 per cent of the education research was classed as either 'world leading' or 'internationally excellent' and a further 30 per cent as internationally recognised. We contribute to the Society and Culture Research Themes in the University of Brighton.
