Have you considered studying for the Professional Doctorate in Education (EdD)?
The session will include information about the content of the EdD programme as well as what is required in the EdD application. The deadline for applications for the EdD is Friday 29 June 2012.
The EdD is a five year part-time programme with a possible extension to eight years. It provides a research-based and practice-focused experience. During the first two years students complete three assignments and in the final two years they complete a major 50,000 word thesis. Throughout the programme students are supported by tutors and peer groups, and through regular Study Days and monthly Saturday morning Methodology sessions. An MA in education or a related discipline and a minimum of four years professional experience is normally required when applying for an EdD.
