The teaching schools in the faculty offer an extensive range of taught and research-based programs in specialist areas.
These include foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate courses on a full-time or part-time basis, and opportunities to research specialist areas at MPhil and PhD levels. A taught Doctorate (EdD) is targeted at experienced professionals with responsibilities for education.
Many courses in the faculty have endorsements from external agencies and bodies, including the Training & Development Agency for Schools (TDA), the National Youth Agency (NYA) and the National Council for the Teaching of Journalists (NCTJ).
The University of Brighton has one of the best teaching quality records in the UK, with high subject scores (20+) across all subject areas.
