Each year the university carries out a ‘first destination’ survey which investigates and analyses the employment rate of graduates. The Faculty of Education and Sport is very well represented in these surveys and the results show that our graduates have a consistently higher rate of employment than the national average.
95 per cent of our graduates are not seeking employment or further training within 6 months of graduation. That compares to the average of 72 per cent across all UK university graduates, according to statistics from the Higher Education Funding Council of England.
A recent analysis found that the majority of the Faculty’s graduates are now employed in senior positions in industry. In fact, our graduates are employed in a wide range of positions with organisations based in over 50 countries. They include:
