Policies, schemes and action plans
Our commitment to equality and diversity are detailed in our Equality and Diversity Policy and reflected throughout our Corporate Plan.
In order to fulfil the legal requirements of the Equality Act (2010) and in accordance with our strategies to develop equality at the university, we have developed a series of Equality Objectives for the next four years. These objectives are currently published in draft form, pending a more detailed consultation with staff, students and other key stakeholders in
May 2012. It is anticipated that a final version of these objectives will be published in September 2012.
The Equality Objectives build on the ambitions of previous schemes and action plans for the university, including the Single Equality Scheme, which is also included below.
Progress on our objectives will be published annually as part of our equality reporting progresses.
