Do I need to have formal qualifications?

This is a vocational course which is appropriate for people from a wide range of educational and employment backgrounds.

Ability demonstrated by professional achievement or work experience is just as important as formal qualifications.

All applicants for the course will be interviewed before before being offered a place.

Mature students (21+) are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applicants who do not meet the formal qualification requirements can be considered for Accreditation of Prior (Experiential) Learning, or AP(E)L, according to University of Brighton policy.

formal entry requirements

  • Two A levels or equivalent (not necessarily in
    computer-related subjects).

  • GCSE / O level English Language and Mathematics at grade C or above.
