About this course

  • The Foundation Degree in eSystems is a vocational course designed to give students a broad understanding of information communication technology (ICT) and computing, with a specific emphasis on eSystems including databases, networks and web sites.

  • This course has been developed to meet the demand for skilled professionals who can combine broad-based work experience with the ability to design, manage and maintain eSystems .

  • The course is designed specifically for people in work and is only available on a part-time basis. The normal course duration is four years.

  • Much of the course is delivered via the Internet. College-based activities including workshops, seminars, group discussions and tutorials are also provided.

  • The course content is flexibly structured, in years 3 and 4 of the course students can choose to specialise in either eSystems development or management, depending on individual priorities.

  • Graduates can go onto further study including the final year of computing courses at Universities of Brighton and Sussex.
