The Foundation Degree in eSystems is a vocational course designed to give students a broad understanding of information communication technology (ICT) and computing, with a specific emphasis on eSystems including databases, networks and web sites.

This course has been developed to meet the demand for skilled professionals who can combine broad-based work experience with the ability to design, manage and maintain eSystems .

The course is designed specifically for people in work and is only available on a part-time basis. The normal course duration is four years.

Much of the course is delivered via the Internet. College-based activities including workshops, seminars, group discussions and tutorials are also provided.

The course content is flexibly structured, in years 3 and 4 of the course students can choose to specialise in either eSystems development or management, depending on individual priorities.

Graduates can go onto further study including the final year of computing courses at Universities of Brighton and Sussex.
