Theatre Insomnia - Lost Paradise
Based on an old Romanian folktale called "Youth Without Age, Life Without Death". The story is of a quest for eternal youth, about timelessness, memory, forgetfulness, life and death - as an end or as a beginning. At the centre of the stage is a traditional potter's wheel: here the narrator moulds the characters out of clay, which take shape and metamorphosis in front of the audience. Tickets £4.50/£3

In Toto Productions present The Hair of the Dog

Written by Kristian Steffes and Directed by Lou Cope
Live action, puppetry, film and lush music combine to summon forests, ghosts and shadowy cities from the stage.

After 3 years, the wait is over. The extraordinary In Toto, one of Brighton’s best theatrical exports, are back with their brand new show that will overwhelm you. The Hair of the Dog is like nothing you’ve ever seen before.

In three achingly beautiful chapters, it recounts the sad, disturbing and uplifting life story of Bruno – a man brought up in complete isolation who goes on to develop such terrifyingly powerful eyesight that even the world of the microscopic becomes visible to him. Some of Britain’s most exciting visual artists, puppeteers and film-makers, have pooled their talents to create Bruno’s startling world.
Tickets £7.50/£6
