Broadcast Media at the University of Brighton in Hastings invite you to a day of workshops and talks, designed to expand your understanding of ideas for the media.

• Ceri Thomas, Editor BBC Radio 4's Today programme
• Julie Coultas, Evolutionary Psychologist, with a scientist's take on the uses of story-telling
• Phil Connolly (formerly of BBC Entertainment Development) On some suprising ways big production companies come up with ideas.
• Screening short film: Man in Fear + Q&A with Writer/Director Will Jewell
