The University of Brighton's campus in Hastings is based in the centre of the vibrant and historic town of Hastings, on the south coast.

We offer undergraduate degrees in a range of subjects including applied social science, sociology, broadcast media, business and management, computing, education, English literature, community history, environmental and human biology, mathematics and nursing.

Our Broadcast Media centre is one of the best equipped broadcast media facilities in the south-east. Our students have use of:

  • Green screen television studio
  • Three-room radio broadcast facility, home of the student radio station, BURST
  • Two online editing suites with Pro Tools 5.1 surround sound audio mixing/encoding
  • Mac-based Avid Media Composer mixing room
  • Pro Tools audio post production room
  • Mac-based digital post production room
  • Many other tools that match those they'll find in the workplace.
