Inter-library loans
If we do not have the items that you need, we may be able to borrow them from other collections through the Inter Library Loans (ILL) service from a library outside of the University of Brighton.
Please check the Library Catalogue first to ensure the item is not held in any of the University of Brighton libraries. You can request books and journals, but unfortunately we are unable to order DVDs and videos.

Copyright-cleared copies of articles for desk loan
If you anticipate a need for your students to read particular journal articles, please talk to the library staff who can obtain a copyright cleared copy which will be held in the library for loan. There is no charge for the standard Inter-Library Loan service as part of which items are expected to be available within a two- to three-week period. Some items, particularly photocopies of articles from mainstream journals, will usually arrive more quickly than this.
