Local Libraries at the heart of the Community
Libraries in Hastings and St Leonards are working in partnership to improve access to library facilities for the local community.
The 'Refer' scheme enables members of the public to access a wide range of resources including some specialist collections.
Full members of the Public Libraries can apply for reference access to Hastings Campus Library and the other libraries taking part in the scheme.
Please ask a member of staff if you would like further details of the scheme.
Local Library partnerships in the 'Refer' scheme include:
- Hastings Central library,
- Children`s library,
- Ore and Hollington libraries,
- University of Brighton in Hastings Library,
- Sussex Coast College Hastings library,
- the Rosewell library at the Conquest Hospital, and
- the Theological Library at the Magnet centre, St.Leonards.
Our resources here at the University of Brighton in Hastings Library cover education, computing, media and broadcasting, business & management, social science, health, tourism, sport, english literature, history, local and family history, community development, maths, environmental biology and sociology.
