College and fairs visits

Visits to colleges

The Hastings team make frequent visits to colleges and schools in the Hastings and Rother area to give advice about going to university. We talk to students about a range of issues, including

  • How to write an effective personal statement
  • Student finance
  • Interview skills
  • How to fill in a UCAS application
  • Why study locally?

Our focus is on helping students find out more about university and how to improve their chances of getting a place on the course they want to study, whether that's at the University of Brighton or elsewhere.

You can also ask us about what the University of Brighton offers  in Hastings and at its other campuses, and why it makes sense to consider studying here.

If you'd like to invite a member of staff to talk at your school or college, contact Wendy Philcox, w.philcox@brighton.ac.uk or 01273 644605
