What happens at an open day?
Campus tour
During an open day, you will go on a tour of the campus buildings. You may be shown round in groups by one of our Student Ambassadors who will be happy to talk in detail about our facilities and answer your questions.
Presentations
You'll attend presentations about your chosen subject area, general information about the University of Brighton and our campus in Hastings, and our extensive student support services.
Ask us questions
Open days provide an excellent opportunity to ask questions about your subject area, university life and how we can help you to prepare for a successful career in your chosen subject. Students and staff are on hand to discuss the courses, financing your studies, careers, accommodation, specific support for individual needs, and sport and social activities.
Meet current students
Student ambassadors, wearing bright blue t-shirts, are available throughout the day for an informal chat and to answer questions about studying and living here.
You are welcome to bring someone with you for the day.
