Friendly learning environment

We are committed to providing students with a friendly and relaxed learning environment in Hastings. Students benefit from supportive staff and, due to the nature of courses, are likely to be in smaller groups so get to know staff and colleagues easily and quickly. The centre is part of the community and arranges events for members of the local community, staff and students.

Modern facilities and convenient location

University of Brighton in Hastings is set in a modern campus that has recently undergone over £7m of investment.

The Havelock Road building includes a tiered lecture theatre, a spacious and well-stocked library, computer pool rooms, and a state-of-the-art broadcast media centre.

The Priory Square building opened in September 2012 and is just two minutes' walk away from Havelock Road. It holds improved student services and union facilities, a second lecture theatre, laboratory and teaching rooms as well as industry-standard TV and radio studios.
