Friendly learning environment

We are committed to providing students with a friendly and relaxed learning environment in Hastings. Students benefit from supportive staff, and due to the nature of courses, are likely to be in smaller groups so get to know staff and colleagues easily and quickly. The centre is part of the community and arranges events for members of the local community, staff and students.

Modern facilities and convenient location

University of Brighton in Hastings is set in a modern campus that has undergone over £7m of investment. Our building on Havelock Road includes a tiered lecture theatre, a spacious and well-stocked library, computer pool rooms, and a state-of-the-art broadcast media centre.

A second building, two minutes' walk away from the first building on Havelock Road, will open in Priory Square later in 2011. It will hold improved student services and union facilities, a second lecture theatre, laboratory and teaching rooms.
