The centre's work researching regeneration is interdisciplinary, focusing on:

• Education and regeneration - linked to work taking place in the School of Education
• Planning and regeneration - linked to the work by the Society and Environment group in the School of Environment and Technology
• Social policy and regeneration - linked to studies being undertaken in the School of Applied Social Science
• Economic regeneration - linked to the university's Economic and Social Engagement project and work in the School of Service Management
