The faculty undertakes ground-breaking internationally excellent research in health, social and public policy, and the social sciences. We also produce expert and responsive professionals and practitioners and critically engaged social scientists who contribute to the future development of their subjects, professions and communities.
Faculty successfully wins two health research training awards
The faculty has been successful in two bids for funding from the National Institute for Health Research.
Clinical Academic Training Programme Internship programme:
Two physiotherapists and one nurse are currently completing the internship programme at the University of Brighton from September 2012 to March 2013.
MRes (Clinical Research):
Twelve fully funded places will be available for each of the next three years on the Clinical Research MRes course in the Faculty of Health and Social Science.
