An exploration of practice in specialised contexts

On Monday 13 February 2012 the faculty is holding the Interprofessional Student Conference 'Preparing for Practice'.
The conference aims to enable students from nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry and social work to meet and discuss their profession and practice and also to attend workshops on interprofessional practice in specialised contexts.
Workshops will be available on practice with the homeless; service users with dementia; end of life care; care for children with complex needs; early intervention in psychosis and of the needs of parents with learning disabilities.
The conference will be held at the Darley Road site, Eastbourne and has been organised by the faculty's Interprofessional Learning Group.
