Commissioning strategy and practice in health and social care

The aims of this colloquium are to:

  • gain up to date information on NHS policy and its implications for commissioning
  • explore the public and private market interface
  • enquire into how to commission most effectively in practice
  • learn from and with other professionals involved in commissioning

The session will include input from national speakers on commissioning urgent and non-urgent care, world café/small group work, and stories from local practitioners.

This workshop is aimed to inform GP Commissioners, NHS Clinical Leaders and Health and Social Care Commissioning Managers and Leaders.
