Generally, prior entry clearance (ie. a visa) is required for students coming from Hong Kong. To obtain a visa you will need to have an unconditional offer of a place at the University of Brighton and your CAS number from the university. You will need to prove that you have the funds to pay your tuition fees and living expenses.

What our graduates say

Hong Kong architecture graduate

contentbox-quote-orange.gifThe tutors at the University of Brighton are really good and they taught me a lot of knowledge about architecture. I have really enjoyed the weather and the beach of Brighton is lovely, so lovely.

Hao-Chun Hung,
Architecture and Urban Studies PGDip

contentbox-quote-orange.gifI will never forget the time I had at Brighton. I had always lived with my family and so I faced challenges both in living alone and in studying abroad. The rewards were fruitful and I became independent and confident.

After two years of discipline and hard work, setting up short term targets and annual goals, I got what I aimed for, a first class honours degree. I am now confident to achieve any target I set myself.

contentbox-quote-orange.gifAs I’m from Hong Kong I have found that everything is different, but with every lesson I’m able to understand more and more about the British culture through contact with classmates and I also learn about other cultures from fellow international students.

After I finish my studies I intend to be an interior architectural designer. What I have learnt here at the University of Brighton will be very useful in my future job.
