The latest Research Assessment Exercise determined that 70 per cent of our research in business management is of international standing.

English language tuition

The UK Border Agency requires that all students complete a secure English language test before applying for their visa. The university's Brighton Language Institute can help undergraduate and postgraduate students from Ukraine to complete their SELT and to undertake English language programmes to meet university entry requirements, if required.

Additional English language support in your first year

The university provides free English language tuition for you in your first year of study, if you would like it. These courses are comprehensive and flexible, so they can fit around your studies. The English language courses are tailored towards academic study. For more details, see our English language support information.


Immigration and Visa requirements

Generally, prior entry clearance (ie. a visa) is required for students coming from Ukraine. Please contact the British Embassy in Kyiv. In order to obtain a visa you will need to have an unconditional offer of a place at the University of Brighton and your CAS number from the university. You will need to provide that you have the funds to pay your tuition fees and living expenses.
