Brazil - academic equivalencies
Undergraduate
We require students taking the Certificado de Ensino Médio or the Diploma de Tecnico de Nivel Medio (secondary school certificates) to take and successfully complete an international foundation year.
Students who have successfully completed their first year at a recognised university in Brazil, however, may be exempt from the foundation course requirement and considered for admission to year one of a bachelor’s degree if relevant subjects have been studied and strong grades achieved (i.e. a minimum grade of 5.0 or 2:2 in UK terms).
Postgraduate
We require a Bacharel or Licenciado/Licenciatura or Título Profissional when awarded after a minimum of four years of study.
