Undergraduate

We require a Hong Kong Advanced Level Certificate (HKALC) when awarded after seven years of secondary education or, from September 2012 entry, the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE).

The HKDSE is a three-year senior secondary academic structure which commenced in September 2009.

(For the purposes of admissions, only grades 5**, 5*, 5, 4 and 3 on the HKDSE are being considered as appropriate levels of attainment for supporting progression to higher education at Brighton.)

Postgraduate

We require applicants to hold a bachelor’s degree (with a high GPA) or a master’s degree from a recognised Hong Kong university.

English language equivalency

We will accept an A-C on the Hong Kong Advanced Level (HKAL) OR an A-C on the Hong Kong Certificate in Education (HKCE) OR a grade 3 or above on the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements.
