The purpose of this module is to provide students with a comparative perspective for the analysis of globalisation and sport demonstrating: their dependence upon particular social, political and economic factors; their roles in the promotion of nationalism and/or cross-national and cross-community relations; and the influence of global flows of power, ideology; information and economic practices. |
