| Aims: |
To enable students to:
- Understand and apply the theories of human behaviour to the management of individuals and groups in the workplace.
- Determine the relationships between those theories and the roles and responsibilities a line manager has in the daily management of people.

| Learning outcomes: |
By the end of the module students will be able to:
- Recognise and evaluate the influence and effects of individual, group and organisational behaviour on the effective management of people in service organisations.
- Analyse, using relevant theories, the key concepts and processes involved in delivering effective high quality, practical and innovative people solutions to specific business challenges.
- Determine and evaluate which aspects of managing people contribute to exceptional performance and how these impact on the overall business success.

Full-time delivery mode. 10 teaching weeks plus 4 weeks group & individual tutorials and assessment.
