Project Monitoring

Once projects have started, their progress will be monitored by the PMO and the ITPB, as described in the IT PM Framework, to ensure that all approved major IT projects are planned, managed and implemented according to the University’s Framework for Information Systems Development. The objective is to ensure that the university gains best value and benefit from the systems it invests in, and that projects are delivered within budget and the planned start and end dates.

Here's a flowchart giving a visual representation of the monitoring process.
