Using your own computer

Click on Computing on the left to find out how you can use your own computer to access university resources from:

  • libraries
  • cafes and informal learning areas (via wireless network)
  • student residences
  • your own home

Remember, wherever, you are working from, it is vital that you have anti-virus software and all the latest security patches installed on your computer. See the section on anti-virus information to find out how to obtain up-to-date anti-virus software free of charge for your computer.
