Here are just some of the ways Information Services can help you with your studies:

  • Information Advisers run workshops on using on-line resources, including how to find journal articles and using Endnote Web for referencing.
  • Our IT trainers run drop-in sessions at all sites in the build-up to assignment deadlines. Come along to get help with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MindGenius, e-mail or  PhotoShop (at Grand Parade only).
  • Don't worry if you can't get to one of our scheduled sessions, all the training materials and support materials we use are available on-line for you to work from in your own time.
  • Our series of library help videos provide short and practical introductions to library services.
  • Our information literacy pages will help you access, locate and evaluate a wide range of quality information for your assignments.
  • If you are looking for help with study skills, anything from time management to taking notes and writing essays to passing exams, see ASK the online Academic Study Kit .
  • We offer a number of additional services to support part time students .
  • And if all you want is a warm room, with access to resources, we provide a number of options for places to study in groups, or individually.
