Contacting the Service Desk Print

You can contact the ICT Service Desk in two ways:

by telephone to 01273 64(4444

by email to  (or just Service Desk for staff using internal email)

The Service Desk is staffed at the following times:

08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday

08:30 - 16:30 Friday

Outside of these hours a telephone service is provided 365 days of the year by NorMAN (the North-Eastern Metropolitan Area Network Group), a service operated by Northumbria University.

NorMAN staff can answer common queries such as opening hours and directional enquiries, university password and account related queries, connecting to e-mail on and off campus and central systems availability. If they are unable to resolve your enquiry in full at the time, details will be returned to the IS Service Desk for follow up during the next working day.

The Service Desk was previously known as the IT Helpdesk.
