Special printing with studentprint

You can use printers in open access computer pool rooms to print straightforward A4 and A3 black and white, or colour, documents. When you have a special document to prepare, such as bound reports, complicated colour prints and big copying jobs, you may like to use studentprint.
The studentprint service allows you to send Windows PC based Microsoft
Office and PDF documents directly to the university's Reprographics
service in Cockcroft via the web. The service allows you to
print reports, dissertations and jobs where the finished pages are
bound together and provides an assisted colour printing
service for banners and high quality prints up to 914mm x 1219mm (that's just a bit bigger than A0).
How it works:
- you connect to the studentprint web page
- you upload your document to the studentprint server
- you examine your document to see how it will look when printed, then submit it
- you specify how you want it bound, printed etc and enter your student number
- if you are happy with the cost, you then click Send
- your document will not actually be printed until you call in to Reprographics in person, or make alternative arrangements
- you may have to wait a few minutes for your document to be printed, you then pay and take the finished document away
- your document will be deleted from the studentprint server after 3 days - don't use this server as a place to store documents!
You can only use the studentprint service, if you are using a computer connected to the University of Brighton network.
