Accessing and using our buildings Print

We operate from a wide variety of buildings, varying in age and accessibility. Staff in all buildings are happy to do what they can to find a solution to any problems that may arise.

If you want to contact a member of staff before your first visit then we can make sure there is someone available to show you around. However, you are under no obligation to contact us in advance. For more information about access to buildings, maps and travel directions, check our Opening hours pages for the Libraries , Media Centres and Computer poolrooms.

Picture of hearing loop logo We try to make sure our buildings are easy to use in terms of lighting, layout and signage. If any of these things pose difficulties for you, or if you feel that any of these things could be improved then please let us know.

Library enquiry desks are fitted with induction loops.
