Note: The computer poolroom in Mayfield House will be closed for summer maintenance and upgrades from 28th June 2012 until 9th July 2012. The Falmer Library poolroom will still be available during this time.

Please note that all buildings, including libraries and computer pool rooms, will be closed on public holidays, including the Easter weekend.

A UniCard is needed to access the Falmer Library computer pool rooms outside of Library opening hours.

The UniCard will need to be initialised before you can use it to access the building. The card reader at the entrance to Falmer Library can be used to initialise your UniCard, and full instructions are posted at this point. You will only need to go through the card initialisation process once, on the first occasion that you use your Unicard to access the building.

If you experience any difficulties initialising your UniCard, please contact the local Estates staff at Ringmer House Reception.

If you have an old style access card i.e. a swipe or proximity card, please visit your local Finance Office to hand it in and claim your original £10 deposit.

Computer pool room support
Support is available in the Falmer Library pool room and Mayfield House (room 139) during the times shown below:

Mayfield House has an open access computer room containing windows PCs on the ground floor.

In the Falmer Library there are four bookable teaching rooms and one open access computer room, all of which contain Windows PCs. There are also computers on all floors of the main library.

Any member of the university can use the teaching rooms when they are not booked for classes.
