Mind mapping tools can be used for structuring ideas, reports, theses
and presentations visually. Some software also has project management functionality allowing you to create Gantt charts and feed into MS Project.

- MindMeister - a free alternative for Mac users.

Mind Mapping with Mind Genius
This workshop looks at how to use
MindGenius as a tool for planning and structuring ideas for reports,
theses and presentations, which can then be converted automatically into
Word or PowerPoint.
Would benefit:
All staff and students looking for alternative ways of organising or
processing information, or who support students who would benefit from
alternative methods of organising or processing information.

Project Management with MindGenius
This workshop, being developed in collaboration with the IS Project Management Office, will introduce using Mind Genius as a cost effective
alternative for project managers who do not have access to Microsoft
Project.

free to download from www.mindmeister.com and is a good alternative for Mac users or those wanting to create mind maps on an iPad.
