Brighton Language Institute at the University of Brighton provides a comprehensive range of English language courses for students who want to improve their English language before beginning university and in the first year of their study.
All programmes are accredited by the British Council and we are an institutional member of the British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes (BALEAP). Many of our English language teachers are experienced examiners for bodies including Trinity College and Cambridge ESOL.
Our courses use the latest online learning techniques. We offer blended learning that combines taught classes, mainly in groups of up to 16 students, online tutor contact, peer discussion and study via our virtual learning environment, studentcentral.
