Free English language support
English language support continues in your first year of academic study.
If you start either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course with us after completing your English studies, you will continue to receive high-quality language support from Brighton Language Institute.
This is provided through our English language support programme which offers a series of term-time lectures, classes and specialised tutorials. It is available to all students whose first language is not English.
The English language support programme is free of charge and is designed to consolidate and develop your existing language skills to help you complete your day-to-day academic tasks.
The programme includes the following areas:
- intensive English lecture weekends
- academic support drop-in tutorials
- academic writing and style classes
- writing advisory service.
