Extended masters route
The extended masters route allows you to combine a masters degree with an English language course. You can typically obtain a single UK visa to cover both parts. Depending on your current language level you will study English for between two and three months before starting your masters course.
The objective of the English language study in the extended masters route is to help you build up a strong academic vocabulary that specifically relates to your masters subject. You will have an opportunity to work with specialist tutors from your area of study before starting your masters degree.
Brighton Language Institute is responsible for the English language component of the extended masters. For more information about the academic aspect of the course, please refer to the school.
