English language entry requirements
You can meet our English language proficiency requirement, by providing us with certified proof that you have recently passed an English language qualification.
The table shows the English language qualifications that we will consider as an alternative to IELTS. The table should be considered as a guide to the most popular English language examinations. If you have any other English language qualification, please contact us to see if you would be eligible for one of our courses.
We can test you in your own country
If you do not have an appropriate English language qualification, you may be able to take a University of Brighton test either in your own country or at the university. If you pass, you will then be able to apply for one of our English language courses.
