Student Finance England recommend you apply online instead. If you are unable to apply online, please contact Student Finance England direct by phoning 0845 300 50 90
Student finance online services will be unavailable between 5.00 pm and 9.00 pm this evening (18th August) but the phone lines are usually open until 8.00 pm
However, we are experiencing processing times of up to 8 weeks, so if you have not already re-applied for student finnace it is likely you will not receive funding until the start November and you will need to make financial provisional for this to cover rent, living costs and travel until your funding arrives.

Guidance for continuing students re-applying for student finance for academic year 2010/2011
This information is for continuing ‘home’ students who started an undergraduate course in September 2009.
For any other funding queries please contact studentadvice@brighton.ac.uk to discuss your circumstances
You may not be aware that you need to re-apply for funding for each year of study. The deadline to ensure you receive the first instalment of your loan on time at the start of the new academic year has passed, but you should submit an application without further delay, as the processing times for current applications is 8 weeks.
Part time students will need form PTG1 2010/2011
If sending your application by post, take a copy and send the original with your evidence by recorded delivery to:
Student Finance England If your circumstances have changed It’s important to notify the SFE or your local authority as soon as possible if there’s a change in your circumstances. You will need to complete form CO2 (2010/2011) and send with your finance re-application, but changes you need to let them know about include: · changing university or college · changing or leaving your course · changing your name or address
