The Office of Fair Trading, OFT, has announced that it will be investigating the practices of 50 leading lenders in the £2 billion and growing payday lending sector. Interested parties such as National Association of Student Money Advisers, NASMA www.nasma.org.uk has contributed to the OFT consultation about irresponsible lending.
