Getting the most out of Brighton
Brighton is (according to us) one of the best places in England to study. Brighton has so much to offer from a cultural scene to a vibrant night life.
Many people call Brighton “London by the sea” which also means London prices unfortunately. According to a recent article in the Argus (local newspaper), Brighton is the 5th most expensive place to study with average rents being nearly £20 more per week than the national average of £62.61.
But not everything has to be costly. There are so many ways to make up for the “above average” rents. With over 20,000 students just at University of Brighton alone, the town is full of student activities and student discounts. And with some money sense you can make your money last a long way.
Have a look at our student discount page for some places that offers discounts.
