The ceremony will also be attended by her tutor John Morley, from the Brighton Business School and Christine Moon, Registrar and Secretary at the university.
Bernadette Katchoff, Edexcel’s Higher Education Regional Manager, said,
"I am delighted to award the BTEC Higher National Student Prize to Shelley Wright in recognition of her achievements and I wish Shelley all the best in her future career."
The prize is open to BTEC Higher National students at higher education institutions and is awarded by Edexcel for the eighth year in 2003. John Morley, said:
"It is Shelley’s drive, determination and commitment to her studies and to her personal development that made her an obvious candidate for this award.
"Shelley has overcome severe dyslexia to achieve a very high standard of performance in assessments that contradicts her lack of confidence in her abilities.
"Shelley is pleasant, polite, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. She has a determination to succeed coupled with an ability to motivate and support others."
