Tired of sitting in rush hour traffic queues?
Do you need to bring your car to uni?
Did you know a cyclist can commute from Kemp Town to Moulsecoomb more quickly than a car driver?
Bike-2-Uni day
If you cycle in to the university on Bike-2-Uni day, Wednesday 16 June, you
can pick up a free coffee voucher and free entry to a prize raffle between
8.15 and 9am, by the bike cages in Watts, Cockcroft, Mithras, Falmer and
Grand Parade.
Dr Bike
If your bike is looking a little rusty, bring it along on Wednesday 16 June
for a free bike health check and advice. 'Dr. Bike' instructors from Cycle
Training South East will be available at the following times:
- 9-11am: Falmer, outside the library
- 12-2pm: Moulsecoomb, in the Watts car park north
- 3-5pm: Grand Parade, in the main courtyard
Bike-2-Uni day is being organised at the university’s Brighton campus as part of National Bike Week (12-20 June). It is hoped that future events would include the Eastbourne campus.
